Tour Description

Day 1 CASABLANCA - MARRAKECH:

On your arrival at the Casablanca airport a vehicle will be waiting for you to move to the riad in Marrakech, rest of the day free so you can enjoy the first contact with Marrakech at your own pace. Free lunch and dinner, accommodation at the Riad.

Day 2 MARRAKECH :

Breakfast at Riad Azalay and appointment with the guide to begin the half-day guided tour of the city of Marrakech. You will visit the most emblematic monuments of the city such as the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace and the surroundings of the Koutoubia. Afternoon free to visit the medina at your leisure enjoying the experience of getting lost in the medina of Marrakech, walking through its alleys. Lunch and dinner free. Accommodation in Riad.

Day 3 MARRAKECH – THE GORGES OF DADES :

Pick up at the hotel where you stay in Marrakecha at 8 o'clock in the morning tostart the route. Departure from Marrakech via the mountain pass Col Tichka, the highest in all Africa, where we will cross the Atlas Mountains making stops to enjoy the magnificent views that the route offers us and to rest or take pictures whenever you feel like it. We will continue on our way to Ouarzazate, where after lunch, we continue the route finding the village of Skoura, located in the heart of the valley of palm trees, an extensive and labyrinthine oasis, whose lush vegetation wraps precious secret kasbahs and you can also visit its kasbahs from here we will continue through the Valley of Roses (famous for the cultivation of them) to the Dades Valley, where we will visit the gorges of Dades. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Dades.

Day 4 THE GORGES OF DADES - MERZOUGA:

After breakfast, we will continue along the banks of Boulmane, where a road marked by kasbahs (citadel) and ksour (forts or castles), whose landscape is ocher, red and mauve. Around us we will find stony plateaus where the dromedaries graze. After a journey full of ksour, oasis and palm trees we will arrive at Tineghir (where the spectacular gorges of Todra are) perched at 1,350 m altitude and surrounded by a palm grove. We continue towards Erfoud (city of the fossils) and after passing through Rissani, we will arrive at Merzouga, in front of the high dunes of Erg Chebbi. In the hotel we will leave what we do not need and the dromedaries wait for us to enter the desert, while the sun goes down, until we reach the tents camp in the middle of the desert of high dunes, where we will spend the night in a tent. Dinner in a tent under the stars of the desert. Dinner and accommodation in a tent.

Day 5 MERZOUGA - FEZ:

After breakfast departure in the direction of Fez, first we will cross the Tafilalet valley, we will enter the palm grove of Ziz and climb the High Atlas, then cross the Alto Moulouya plateau and the Middle Atlas with its impressive cedar forests, to finally descend to the fertile valley of Oued Sebou where Fez is located. Lunch and free dinner . Accommodation in Hotel Riad Dar Córdoba or similar.

Day 6 FEZ :

Breakfast and visit Fez at your leisure and own pace. Fez is the most labyrinthine medina in Morocco and one of the most impressive in the Islamic world, thousands of alleys cross this medina in all directions, the different souks divided by artisan guilds are divided by this seemingly endless maze, you can visit some of their madrasas , the surroundings of the Qarawiyin mosque,  the first university in the world, the well-known dyers, where the skins are dyed with artisan techniques. It is advisable to make the visit with a guide that will take you to the different points of interest without delay. Lunch and free dinner. Accommodation in riad Dar Córdoba or similar.

Day 7 FEZ – RABAT :

Breakfast at the riad and moving to Rabat. On the way you can make a stop and a visit for free to the city of Meknes, the third imperial city of your journey through Morocco, the dream of Moulay Ismail, a city created to be his capital, which it was until his death. After the stop you will continue towards Rabat, the fourth and last imperial city of your route. In Rabat you can visit the Tour Hassan, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the Kasbah of the Oudayas and the beautiful and manageable old medina. Lunch and free dinner. Accommodation in Riyadh.

Day 8 RABAT – CASABLANCA – ORIGIN:

Breakfast and transfer to Casablanca airport at the scheduled time of departure of the plane
